Atla is a membership association of librarians and information professionals, and a producer of research tools, committed to advancing the study of religion and theology.

The Atla Digital Library brings together in a singular, searchable platform digitized collections from libraries, religious institutions, and other organizations worldwide who collect and preserve texts, records, maps, photographs, recordings, and other materials. The items found in the Atla Digital Library are of importance to those with an interest in researching, studying, teaching, and otherwise searching for historical and archival content in religion and theology.

Welcome to Atla LibGuides - resources and guidance for use by librarians and staff at religious and theological libraries and archives.
Atla has licensed LibGuides by Springshare for use by Atla Interest Groups, Committees, Denominational Groups and Atla staff for the purpose of producing subject resource guides for use by Atla members and other libraries who may have a use for the content to serve their patrons.

The Atla Open Press, an open access imprint of Atla, publishes and hosts open access books, journals, and other serial publications that lie at the intersection of librarianship and the study of theology and religion. The publications of Atla Open Press cover subjects that impact the work of theological and religious studies librarians, that guide and support innovative library services, and that enhance professional development.

Books@Atla Open Press publishes open access works on subjects at the intersection of librarianship and religious and theological studies that potentially impact libraries. We seek to provide resources that guide and support innovative library services and enhance professional development. Titles published by the Press will fall within three areas: Scholarly Editions, Association Editions and Reprints

The mission of the Global Digital Theological Library (GLDTL) is to make high quality digital content in religious studies available to academic institutions in the developing world in an economically feasible manner.
The GLDTL seeks to accomplish this mission by licensing with publishers and vendors on behalf of these small institutions and creating one shared and professional managed, global library for their benefit.
