Announcements and Activities

April:

This April we celebrate the National Literature Month with the theme "“Ang Panitikan at Kapayapaan (Literature and Peace).” The theme serves the purpose of paving the way to freely discuss the importance and contribution of literature in maintaining and spreading peace in the country and in the communities. This will also help people understand peace better and show how literature can spread important ideas to Filipinos.

National Literature Month is organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (N.C.C.A.) to recognize the works of esteemed writers and scholars of Philippine literature. It also promotes the history and cultural legacy of Philippine literature among Filipinos of today and the younger generation.

Come and visit the library for activites created just for you in celebration of the National Literature Month! See you at the library! :)
